With the economy the way it is right now, most people are really nervous about spending money this Christmas. Now is the time to really make an effort to earn a little extra Christmas Cash while at the same time find good deals to stretch your already tight budget. That way, you can face the new year without the worry of additional credit card debt.

With the economy the way it is right now, most people are really nervous about spending money this Christmas. Do you find yourself frustrated year after year because you just can't stick to your holiday budget? If that is the case then now would be a really good time to break those bad spending habits while at the same time, find ways to earn extra Christmas cash. In fact, the positive changes you make now will benefit you all year long.
If you would like to earn some extra money then now is the time that many businesses are looking for part time temporary Christmas help. However, if a part time job isn't an option then look to eBay or local consignment shops as a way to earn some some extra money. Not only will this bring in some extra Christmas cash but you will be getting organized at the same time. After all, where are you going to put all of those new Christmas gifts your friends and family get for you if you don't make room now?
If you have never sold on eBay before then a good idea is to check out some auctions that are selling similar items that you have. Childrens clothing that is in good condition usually does pretty well especially if you put a few different items together and sell as a lot. Just make sure that they are the same size and for the same season.
Besides eBay you could earn some extra Christmas cash by taking your gently used items to resale shops. Call in advance to find out how much they are willing to pay and what they are accepting. For example, many consignment shops will only take seasonal clothing. If you are lucky you will find a shop that takes baby items, household items, furniture, etc. Just be sure that clothing is clean, free of rips and neatly pressed. Other items should be cleaned up first to get top dollar. Some consignment shops will pay you cash up front while others will split the profit with you as your items sell. You may not make as much as you would selling on eBay but you will save a lot of time in the long run.
You might find it easier to get your holiday shopping done early by checking out the weekly sales. However, you can find some awesome deals just weeks before Christmas. If you don't mind the stress of last minute shopping then you could make your Christmas cash go far. On the other hand, some items such as the latest toys, gadgets and video games should not be left until the last minute or you may find yourself unable to find them in stock.
Do you want to avoid the crowded stores altogether? Then you can really do well shopping online. Many stores offer free shipping and other deals to help your Christmas cash stretch further. Many online retailers offer special deals when you use Paypal. Owned by eBay, Paypal is a great alternative to using credit cards online.
