Way to many people spend much more than is needed in order to get their internet business up and running. You do not need to invest large sums of money. All you need is money for webhosting and some side cash for monthly work.
What are some of the ways you can begin to sell online? You can promote other people's products, sell on eBay, or even sell your own product. The best model I believe, is to get yourself a website and learn how to promote it.
Let's take eBay for a quick example here. How many times do you look for a baseball cap in the antique furniture section? The point is, place your ads in a relevant category.
If you wish to create your own product, you can do that as well. I would suggest that you hold off on this though for one main reason. You still have to know how to promote your website and that is difficult.
Information is a key ingredient when it comes to making sales online. If you can find a market hungry for solutions to their problems, you have a winner. Give people information and you will never run out of sales.
Have you considered becoming an affiliate by any chance? This is one of the most popular ways that people get started in online marketing. You sell a product that someone else owns, and earn a commission on any sales you made.
If you think you can make a load of money in your first couple of months online, think again. Building a business on the internet is no different than in the "real" world. It takes time and focus.
One last piece of advice, don't jump around from one opportunity to the next. This is one of the main reasons why so many people give up hope. It takes time to get something going and that is why you have to stick with one plan.
