PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising has become a lot different in the last few years. If you expect to turn a profit, policy changes from Google mean that it is not possible to collect a huge number of keywords and just make easy money.

And, trying this particular PPC campaign today could end in expensive, active keywords simply being deactivated if the ads are considered bogus. Bid prices are rising on basic keywords, so it is important to pay attention to which ones you choose to get the best outcome for your money.

The best chance of a successful result is paying close attention when choosing your keywords in a way that it gives you a good chance of a successful and a profitable campaign. And, you should learn why Google treats your advertising the way it does.

Google makes its money from advertising. And, one of the reasons the search engine became what it is today is that people know they can get good information when they use it. This is why Google tries to keep everyone honest by ensuring that all ads on their site are the real thing.

That's why Google works to keep out ads that are composed of false information, spam, and websites that don't give the visitor anything. You can also find out how you're doing - for instance, when you want to know how effective your keywords are, just search for them. If you appear in the top entries, you've chosen effective words. Check out related terms, too, and don't forget to check out meta tags and copy on competitors' sites. While you should never copy these, they make great inspiration. Real content is what you need to get lower costs and higher profit, but proving to Google that your site is real.
